Mark your calendar to attend ENGIE Resources’ upcoming webinar on Tuesday, Aug. 15, to hear the latest insights on the corporate renewable energy market and offsite renewable solutions. The discussion will be led by industry insiders Ali Rotatori, an associate of the Business Renewables Center at the Rocky Mountain Institute, and Burhan Koc, a renewable solutions consultant for ENGIE Resources.
The complimentary, one-hour session will be held from 11 a.m. to noon CDT and will begin with a presentation by Rotatori, who will cover key market participants, economics evaluations, and notable trends in renewables procurement. She will also touch on corporate power purchase agreements as well as key financial and accounting overhead considerations.
Koc will follow her remarks with a discussion of critical trends in renewable energy development and consumption, innovations in offsite renewable capabilities and commercial offerings, the pros and cons of various solutions, and economic and contractual features of offsite renewable services. Commercial and industrial customers interested in attending can register here.
Rotatori concentrates on the development of online tools and resources made available through the Business Renewables Center, a member-based platform that streamlines and accelerates corporate purchasing of off-site, large-scale wind and solar energy. Prior to joining Rocky Mountain Institute, Rotatori worked in SunEdison’s commercial and industrial practice, where she focused on the financing and development of solar projects in New England.
Koc is experienced in developing commercial solutions that integrate offsite renewable capabilities with ENGIE Resources product and service offerings. He also teaches two energy-specific Executive MBA courses for the University of Houston’s C.T. Bauer College of Business Global Energy Management Institute. Koc has worked for nearly two decades in various commercial functions of the industry, including supply, trading, structuring, portfolio management, business development, and origination.
