W Washington, DC Takes an Active Role In Their Energy Usage
W Washington, D.C., a member of W Hotels enrolled in our VRewards program this summer. VRewards is our voluntary, incentive based program where customers earn money for using less power during period of high demand, when energy is most expensive. Next door to the White House, the oldest hotel in town has been reinvented into W Washington D.C., revitalizing historic traditions into contemporary sophistication. Rick Wilkerson, Director of Engineering of the hotel was able to join the growing movement to conserve energy without restricting critical systems; for doing so V Reward earnings will be credited to their energy bill.
