Consumer Confidence Offers Positive Indicator

Consumer sentiment in the U.S. has reached its highest level since March. According to the University of Michigan index, the reading of 75.9 is up from 74.1 month-over-month and surpassed analyst expectations. While the number is a positive improvement, the reading is far below the 100 index in February.
