Dallas Alone in Degree Day Deficit

A look at Cooling Degree Days (CDDs) through June 12 shows that Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) sits alone among major competitive energy markets. DFW has seen a relatively mild start to the summer season and sits -62 CDDs below its historic average. Chicago owns the other end of the spectrum at +128 CDDs since the April-October cooling season began.
