The three-month seasonal temperature outlook from NOAA shows no significant signs of relief from the heat. The Northeast, New England and Pennsylvania are poised for a particularly warm start to fall. New England has already seen a heat wave this summer from the Canadian border to Cape Cod. Heat advisories were issued across the region in July and century-old records broken in June. Other competitive markets served by ENGIE will also see above-normal temperatures.

The global temperature in June was record warm for the 13th straight month and it marked the 12th straight month that the world was 1.5 degrees Celsius (2.7 degrees Fahrenheit) warmer than pre-industrial times.
