ENGIE Named Global #1 in Renewable Corporate PPAs

ENGIE has strengthened its leadership position in global renewable energy markets, ranking as the world’s number one supplier of energy for corporate Power Purchase Agreements (cPPAs), according to BloombergNEF’s annual benchmark review. The Group signed 3.6 GW of new renewable cPPAs in 2025, bringing its total contracted volume to 13.8 GW since 2011, the highest globally over the full 2011–2025 period.

This milestone underscores the strength and resilience of ENGIE’s renewable growth model, driven by major agreements with leading technology companies such as Apple, Google, and Meta, alongside a rapidly expanding B2B customer base across manufacturing, agrifood, logistics, retail, and business services.

By leveraging a diversified portfolio of wind, solar, and flexible storage assets, including battery solutions, ENGIE continues to scale its impact across Europe, Latin America, and the United States, with new high‑potential markets like India on the horizon.

ENGIE is also paving the way for a new standard in traceability with its 24/7 Carbon‑Free Energy offering, which matches customer load hour‑by‑hour with dedicated renewable and flexible assets – strengthening grid reliability and helping organizations pursue deeper emissions reductions.
