PJM/MISO Deal Flow Update

PJM /MISO deal flow continues to be steady. In addition to fixed products and price lock agreements, we see more interest in restructured products, converting index to fixed price and Blend & Extends.
Temperatures in PJM are forecast warmer than normal for June. PJM is forecasting the peak load this summer at just over 154,000 MW. PJM’s record peak load was set at 165,563 MW in 2006. Last year the summer peak was about 152,700 and 147,000 MW in 2023. PJM has approximately 179,200 MW of generation capacity this summer and estimated 7,900 of demand response.
