Recession or not? That seems to be the question. As for “not”, S&P offered some positive news last week from the corporate sector.

• PMI composite output index reached an 11-month high.
• Services Business Activity Index reached a 12-month high.
• Manufacturing Output Index reached an 11-month high.
• Manufacturing PMI hit a 6-month high.
