Freeport LNG Eyes Return

Freeport LNG said Friday it aims to restart production at its natural gas export plant in Texas in mid-December. Freeport LNG anticipates about 2 bcf/d of production in January 2023, with full production expected to begin in March 2023. Freeport is the second largest LNG export facility in the U.S., and the seventh largest globally. It accounts for 20% of U.S. export capacity and its shutdown contributed to an oversupply in the North American market.
