Gas Marketing Grows Despite COVID-19

December marks the two-year anniversary of ENGIE’s acquisition of Plymouth Rock Energy. Over this period, ENGIE has been the fastest growing retail natural gas marketer in North America. The growth has continued in 2020 despite the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic which has generally dampened energy demand. A few highlights are below:
- Renamed the business ENGIE Power and Gas
- Expanded the acceptance of custom products that address specific usage, budget, and risk management objectives
- Massachusetts contracted volume is 2.5X greater than 2019
- Ohio custom priced volume is up 162%
- Illinois volume has nearly doubled
