LNG Cancellations Slow
July 27, 2020
According to Oilprice.com, canceled cargoes of U.S. LNG exports are slowing, but still significant. In September, the number will be half of August, somewhere between 15 and 26. A mild winter in Europe has left storage capacity full and depressed prices. U.S. LNG exports are down more than 50 percent in 2020, from 8.1 bcf/d in January to 3.2 bcf/d in July, according to the EIA.
