Nat Gas Finds Support

NYMEX HH natural gas prices found a bit of a bid last week after an injection of 53 Bcf in EIA’s weekly storage report. The injection was the lowest since early April, and the third smallest going back to 2010.  The average  injection for this timestep is 67 Bcf.

Of the 65 monthly futures contracts extending through 2030, 50 were in positive territory immediately after last week’s report. Contracts with the most green on the screen were for the balance of 2025. The bears found a home in 2028 through 2030.
