NYISO Buyers Make BIG Risk Statement

Energy buyers in NYISO made a “risk on” statement this week as their interest in index and flex products jumped to 32%, up from 18% in the prior week. Compared to the risk appetite in other regions, there was no comparison this week.

The risk appetite gauges above reflect the mix of fixed, flex and index volume that were priced on behalf of customer requests in the period. Total annual MWh priced represents 263,487,645 for customers with peak demand above 750 KWh.
