PJM, NYISO Buyers Show Increased Comfort Level with Risk

Pricing volume is up and so is the appetite for risk among PJM and NYISO buyers. NYISO decision-makers were more than twice as comfortable with risk as their counterparts in ERCOT and NEPOOL for the period.

The risk appetite gauges above reflect the mix of fixed, flex and index volume that were priced on behalf of customer requests in the period. Total annual MWh priced represents 218,075,654 for customers with peak demand above 750 KWh.
