Summer 2025 is drawing to a close and it has been another season with relative increased cooling demand. The season has posted Cooling Degree Days (CDDs) that are above historic norms in every Census Region. Temperatures year-over-year are higher in all regions served by ENGIE Resources except ERCOT. With one month remaining in an Apr-Oct summer season, 2025 is on pace globally to be the hottest yet, surpassing previous record-holder 2024.
