The greenest car to drive is a Hyundai. According to the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy, the Hyundai Ioniq Electric car beats a field that includes Mini Cooper, Toyota Nissan, BMW, and Tesla. While each of these brands produces vehicles with impressive scores on fuel economy and emissions, the Ioniq Electric edged out the field to take the top spot for the model 2021 year.
