Wind Trend is a Friend

The dog days of summer may have a reputation for sizzling stillness, but U.S. wind generation over the past decade is getting better in August and September. Compared to the other ten months of the year over a period of ten years, U.S. net wind generation in August and September is closing the gap on the rest of the calendar. EIA data shows that in 2019, wind generation in these two months was 25% less than the average of all other months.
