After 15 weeks into this heating season, population-weighted Heating Degree Days (HDDs) are above the 10-year average. According to NOAA data, this winter has produced 3% more HDDs, but with no impact on natural gas prices. The forecast for the week ending Feb. 15 calls for above normal temps.
