Monitor: PJM’s Wholesale Electricity Markets Competitive So Far In 2017

PJM’s wholesale electric energy, capacity, and regulation markets produced competitive results during the first six months of 2017, according to the grid operator’s market monitor. Energy prices and fuel prices were up, while uplift charges, congestion costs, and total payments for demand response all declined.
