La Niña Return?

NOAA reports a 45% chance of a La Niña weather pattern next winter. In general, La Niña results in a winter with colder than normal temperatures and more precipitation across the northern U.S. and warm, dry conditions in the south. The most recent La Niña pattern was a weak occurrence in 2017-18. The strongest was the winter of 2010-11 which was known for “snowmageddon.”
